Drivers only graduated high school with C average

I quit school in the 10th grade, only because my dad really didn't want to pay the costs associated with school. I wandered the streets for a number of years. At about 20 I went and took the GED test didn't study just took it and passed. I went to work in the oilfield till I was 22. I then applied at Brown and was hired as a package car driver. I worked 36 years (as a driver) I am now retired> I have two kids one with two Bachelors degrees and my daughter is working on her masters at CSU (they must have got their intelligence from Mom. Its not about education but how motivated a person is to succeed JMO!!!!

Could have been worse...

At the time my parents were so disappointed in me. After I did barely graduate, got drafted and then got the job at UPS I was the standout of the family next to my slug brothers.
