Only a sucker would believe anything on THE BLAZE.

Watch the help go into the rear window of the car, within miliseconds, the explosion comes from the floorpan and NOT THE HELOCOPTER!

What crap BECK sells and people BUY.

Geez, I almost feel bad for ya.

So, a nice story about how they built a plane was all a lie just because it was on THE BLAZE?

I was talking about a simple story my uncle sent me from the blaze. It was one of those time condensed movies from the beginning of a plane being built to the time it rolled off the line. It was really cool. Just because it was in the blaze, I guess it was fake. right, TOS?

OMG... are you this gulible??

This is the BIGGEST FAKE ive ever seen! Yes, that thing flies, yes, its shooting a SMALL caliber round, BUT NO...its not shooting explosive rounds! Those manequins are exploding in the wrong direction ! They have clearly been blown up with small explosives as the flying piece of crap is shooting at them.

The biggest fake is the guy speaking with the FAKEST russian accent. Next, I love the chevy impala in the background with american plates on it.

You got this story from THE BLAZE??? GLEN BECK at his finest. I guess there is a sucker born every minute as PT BARNUM once said.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

You are correct that the explosions weren't a result of the ammunition used. Thermite is a common use item for target shooters to get such an effect and was probably stuffed into the mannequins before the video was shot. The machine gun and helicopter was real though. No doubt about that. Considering your ignorance on guns and target shooting you should probably refrain from making comments on these matters as its only reinforcing what we already know to be true.

MENT,

the story was a HOAX. Its clear it was a phoney show to scare people. The russian accent was fake, the dialog was corny, the props, including the car were rigged with explosives to give the hover craft the appearance of success.

The GM IMPALA used had american plates on it if you blow the picture up, instead of russian plates. ( a little oopsie moment for BECK and his fake russian)

THe hover craft indeed flys, they are sold throughout the UNITED STATES at most toy stores. It was fitted with a multi firing gun with a small caliber, but its accuracy was WORTHLESS. When the gun was firing, it knocked the hover craft off course and could only be shot in short bursts or it would knock the thing over.

It was suppose to be a SCARY video, but its a complete fake.

In the car scene, you see the hover craft enter the rear window area where the glass has been removed, then you see two explosions, one in the floorpan in the middle followed by a second explosion under the hood.

It was a joke, and that joke is on ANYONE who would subscribe to GLEN BECK in the first place, and second is to anyone who would forward this story.

Its unfortunate that people just dont get that GLEN BECK is a circus act looking for a new sucker on his websites.

@Brett.

You dont have to be an expert on guns to know the difference between reality and nonsense. Brett, the gun attached to this toy would be a complete failure on the battlefield. Its too slow and too hard to fly because of its multiple rotors. It would be easily shot down. Its made of cheap plastic with plastic rotors. A battle rifle would take it down long before it could do any effective damage on the battlefield.

Ask yourself some questions?

Why in the scene where the hover craft goes through a window with no glass, is the scenario a group of muslim terrorists and not americans or someone from the west? Is russian fighting Al Qaeda now?

Next, ask yourself why the guy is wearing westernized clothes and shoes and gives his weapon the same name that was used in the movie Full Metal Jacket by private gomer pyle? ( CHARLEEN) Is Charleen a common name in Russia? What about the guys friend YURI, do all russians have friends name YURI who are arms dealers like in the movie Lord Of War?

Cmon man, dont be this gulible.

Spot a fake, call it out and please dont embarrass yourself trying to legitimize the video.

Thanks!

Regardless of everything else in this piece, the real howler IMO was the last paragraph and it's concluding question.

Gizmodo speculates that it’s only a matter of time before weapons such as this are a reality. What do you think? Is the U.S. military working on similar designs?

Had the article's author or the website's editors had done the least little due diligence, they would have for starters Googled "weaponized drones" or "police weaponized drones" and then realized how silly that question really was. This article IMO is evidence of a growing propaganda,(author's naiveity being used maybe), to re-grow the Russia Bear back into the Soviet menace which has been ongoing by certain Neo-Con/Neo-Lib coldwar factions since the mid to late 90's. Caspian Oil maybe? Or what happens if Russia brings in hydrocarbons to the global marketplace on top of existing productions, supply and inventory? Hmmmmm!

Besides, think of the economic windfall to the war and weapons industry if the American public could be conditioned to think the old coldwar nemesis was once again game on?

As to the author, as recent graduate of Hillsdale College in biology and communications, she proclaims from her blog to LinkedIn of being a "Communication Specialist" so why should I expect any detailed analysis when instead a scripted conclusion would better fit the bill?

TOS, it is quite apparent you must have gone to a California Public School, as opposed to a NY school, as you didn't read my post. I was referring to your post that everything from the Blaze is false. My uncle reads it and sent me a time-lapsed little movie of a jetliner being built. I am saying to you that that was not a false story. Ergo, everything in The Blaze can not be all falsehoods and untruths. Should you choose not to read this post is up to you, but it will directly affect whether you or not you end up looking like a buffoon, also.

TOS,

This guy has been around for quite awhile....

If he is fake.... he must be *Uber Rich* to own that many Class III full-auto firearms.

Or

He is, or knows a large Class III dealer....

Since 1986, there are only a finite number of legally owned full-auto weapons in the United States....

And they are very expensive to buy. Something the "republic of kaliforina" doesn't trust its subjects to own. :wink2:

I think the video speaks for itself. This is the kind of person who SHOULD not OWN guns. The guy is a fraud making phoney videos in some middle american backwoods location. Supported by some ex military person most likely, providing him the guns for the videos.

Its a good thing We here in California do everything we can to BAN weapons. Like we need more McDonalds shootings from gun freaks with assault weapons.

I do agree with "doing everything you can" to prevent Californians from owning guns.

.

The gun being carried was an M4 derivative of the standard M-16 battle rifle issued to our troops. The "small caliber" .223 round you speak of fires a 55-grain light armor peircing bullet well over 3000 feet per second. It is a brutally lethal round. Yes it lacks accuracy when fired in full-auto mode, but this is true even when a human is holding and firing the weapon.

The real limitations of this hoax are the limited range and payload carrying capability of the hovercraft, plus its susceptibility to enemy jamming. An enemy who had the ability to spoof the signals could turn the thing around and use it against you.

I envision something even more low tech. A weighted net fired in a rocket propelled grenade form made of steel cords tying up the rrotors and bringing it down.

An even lower- tech solution would be a 12- gauge shotgun. Just pretend its a clay pigeon.

My suspicion is that the video was cleverly edited to conceal the fact that the hovercraft would only be able to carry the weight of the rifle and ammo for 2 or 3 minutes before the batteries went dead.
