I have a Winchester Model 94, doesn't have a lever like this one though. The Rifleman Mashup - YouTube

Buddy of mine years ago had a 444 Marlin and I loved that gun. He bought me the dies for reloading and I use to reload rounds for him. In the 70's the round was 10 years old but it was still a bit of a wildcat load for reloaders. Lyman as well as a few other companies came out with bullet dies and since I had a lead pot, we were casting bullets up to 320 grains. At 200 yards, the 444 had as much impact energy as a 44 mag pistol at the muzzle. What you hit was going to come down and quick. The drawback was beyond 200 yards, the round just didn't have it. In the forest thickets of southern deer hunting, limbs and twigs were no problem at all.

Still got those dies too. Maybe I need to finally break down and go buy me one. The big bore beast sure could get it done.

These 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us?

We came four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty .

The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:

"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,

Would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.

The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S.

And had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

I wrote to my Senator (Warren) several weeks before this vote. Later maybe I'll post the reply I got from her. Reading her reply, I had no idea what I had written her about. Weirdest reply I have ever seen. She just kinda rambled, talking about the shutdown and other crap, never mentioning the UN bill at all.
She is a strange woman.
