You were an entirely different party when Social Security was created. And for the millionth time, it's social insurance. You benefit greatly from capitalism but want full blown socialism. For some odd reason you believe life will be great when we all have equal outcomes and a government that insures that. Has never worked. Look at bbsam. The fact is we're all struggling to get by but it's better than having nothing at all with no real incentives to achieve and do better for ourselves. Why would I be out of money? I'm taking SS at 62 and putting it all in savings until my company pension drops to nothing at 67. Will have savings plus SS and realistically won't live to 80. Lucky to make 75.
