I do enjoy a few, my favorite probably being Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, but not in a way that contributes to my love for the Colt. It's kinda the other way around.

My soft spot for this gun comes from a combination of the enjoyment I get from its unique action and reload method, its shootability in my hand, its looks, and its history.

When I watch a Western, it's because I get excited about that era in history and I like seeing my favorite gun in action.

I like how my 1858 Remington ratchets as well.

Cap and ball revolvers are fun. A pain to load and clean though I agree.

My Ruger Old Army is very accurate. Better sights than your Remington helps though.

My Uncle had one of those in stainless. My Lyman replica takes 454 balls as opposed to the usual 451.
