To sum up:

  • Big Tech censored you and the president on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter
  • You left to go to other social media sites such as Parler, MeWe, Minds
  • Big Tech didn’t want you to leave for more freedom
  • Big Tech refused to let another social media platform, Parler, use their app stores
  • Big Tech then booted the social media site Parler from their servers

Double standards abound. No one on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram was tossed off those platforms for protesting, rioting, looting, and vandalizing on behalf of Black Lives Matter and antifa. Lobbing Molotov cocktails wouldn’t get a group booted off a platform.
putin and the ayatollah still have their twitter accounts and the president of the united states does not

GOP: “Capitalism is the way!”

*corporations do what’s best for their financial interests*

GOP: “NOT LIKE THAT!!”
Apparently you don't watch or listen to conservative media. They've been noting the power and influence Big Tech has been gaining for years. And am guessing you're fine with them killing a competitor, especially one that allows views different than theirs/yours.

It will be fine

And you can find those conservative news agencies on Facebook, YouTube and Apple podcasts. Big tech worked to kill a terrorist organizing platform, I’m ok with that.

Parler is not an Amazon competitor. Amazon is not in the social media business.

Amazon was key to pulling the plug and obviously was working with Parler's competitors. If Amazon was concerned about content expressed on Parker why hasn't it condemned Twitter?

You're wrong, Twitter and Facebook are still up, and the BLM terrorists are still organizing there.
They're apparently able to moderate their platforms (see: removal of Donald Trump, Trumpee terror group pages, etc). Apple gave Parler a 24 hour ultimatum to enforce the same kind of controls or be removed from their app store. And Parler didn't.

See above.

Meanwhile hangmikepence was one of the top trending hashmarks on twitter , i eargerly await apple and amazon lowering the boom on twitter now.
you and I both know this is not about moderation but about suppressing competition and suppressing the conservative view. the question is do you have the integrity to admit it?

The company “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended. The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’”

Philips added, “If you transgress this policy, you can expect to separate from the company immediately.”

I listen to those people daily and not a single one has suggested that the election did not end when the electoral college met.

you just defended him. your argument for censorship is swiss cheese without the cheese.
The quelling of violent speech is not some sort of tyrannist act.

"After "hang Mike Pence" began to trend on Twitter late Friday and early Saturday, the social media company squashed the trend and variations of it."

The current "conservative view" is that the Presidential election was fraudulent and something must be done about it before it's too late. And here we are, 9 days from the inauguration of the next President. And we've already seen what some conservatives think they needed to do about it during round 1 of their efforts.
