No thanks.

Your understanding of the God of a book and not the God of all creation is foreign to me.

It is quite the conundrum and a sad state when you are asking me and needing to be shown in a book where He says He will talk to you. That can only lead me to conclude that it is your unbelief that is preventing you from hearing from Him.

I understand God to be alive, active , and speaking into creation. You have shown me that you understand Him much differently than I do.

I will pray (talk to God) about furthering our relationship In moving forward in light of our significant difference in our understanding of Him.

Do you pray?

It’s very curious that you chastise @vantexan about the his explanation of truthfulness between the Old Testament and the new Testament and then you post a Substack of someone explaining that there was an old covenant and a new covenant. Your misunderstanding of scripture,( and outright blasphemy that you don’t believe it’s infallible) and Christianity and even what the good news is misleading, and duplicitous. Over the time I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, I will step away. Your argumentative, confusing Untruthfulness about what you actually believe would not lead anyone to Christ. Quite frankly, I think you’re here to mock Christianity.

Be well, I will pray for your soul.

Chastise?

You’ve got to be kidding.

Thank you I will pray (talk to God) for you as well my friend. Be well.

You can't show me where in the Bible it says God speaks directly to Christians?

1 Peter 3:15(KJV) "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."

I can but I won’t.

Sorry.
"The Book" is the standard. It shows what God is like & what he expects from us. It exists as a fortified path with walls on each side to hold the traveler from crossing over into the pollution.

"The Spirit" may prompt us to go help someone in need or remind us of not partaking in certain events. But the spirit will never tell us to do what the Word prohibits.

Your preaching a kingdom divided, a spirit outside the Word. You either formed this in your own creativity or your being seduced. Your not alone, the world is filled with false teachers claiming superiority to the meek book dwellers.

That may be your understanding, but not mine.

The Bible may be your standard but it is not the standard, Jesus is the standard.

Jesus is the perfect image of the unseen God, not the Bible.

Jesus is the Word made flesh, not the Bible.

I don’t preach, I only share God as I understand Him.

I recognize and appreciate that that is all you are doing as well. We just understand Him differently.

I don't see him anywhere around you, much less in you.
That doesn’t surprise me.

As I recall you only see Him in the version of the Bible you have picked and by the understanding and meaning that version has for you and the rest of the human race.

I respect your understanding of God, but my understanding differs from yours.

In this hour of all-but-universal darkness one cheering gleam appears: within the
fold of conservative Christianity there are to be found increasing numbers of
persons whose religious lives are marked by a growing hunger after God
Himself. They are eager for spiritual realities and will not be put off with words,
nor will they be content with correct "interpretations" of truth. They are athirst
for God, and they will not be satisfied till they have drunk deep at the Fountain
of Living Water.
