I'm sure there is-----I work at a very quick pace and as a result I don't spend a lot of time chit chatting with customers, which may come off as me being rude. Our other in town driver also works quickly and doesn't chat and I have heard from some of his customers that he can come off as being rude, even though I know that both he and I do not mean to.

In this particular case, I was running a bit late so was trying to get rid of this residential section very quickly. I walked directly from the package car to her neighbor's front door and then directly back, cutting through the portion of her yard closest to the road. If that is me being rude I will take that every day and twice on Sunday.

Running isn't one of the methods

Go drive the p/c across her yard on your last day she if she thinks that's rude.

We have a widowed elderly lady next door that gets her yard sprayed for weeds, etc in the spring. Even if you dont see the flags you shouldnt walk on those yards beside being trained to use solid surfaces.
But hey, the dude was running late (?).
My wife was late twice when she was pregnant but i didnt know new york men could be late too.

I’ve heard this before from a few drivers over the years....”I just can’t sit for too long, I always gotta keep on moving”.... umm, yeah...I have never believed that excuse

This is why I like to take my meal break later in the day. I have a hard time sitting knowing that I still have deliveries left to be made.

I'm sitting in a chair at an Amazon flex pickup station checking drivers in on a clipboard and telling them what door they should report to.

And I'm making 75 cents more an hour than I would at UPS

And I've been working preload for almost 4 years now

Why is this ok?
I make over $58 an hour between wages and health and welfare as a UPS driver. how much Does the Amazon flex drivers compensation package differ from what I'm making?

Apparently 75 cents more. So amazon flex is paying $58.75 an hour. I may need to apply for that job

....so you can tell "yourself" (because no one else cares) that you are a "better" driver than everyone else. Slow down old man, milk your route for the OT your last few days.
He will go out there on the last day and run his ass off just like any other day... he probably won’t tell more than a few customers he is leaving... many wgaf anyway...

not gonna lie, UPS is the best job to get . If you have zero education and no goals , UPS is the place to be. Free health benefits for your entire family, pension, job security , education assistance, no work on weekends, mad vacation days , lots of over time........

Last time I checked. Saturday is part of the weekend. And you only get "mad" vacation time after decades
