Can you imagine working on a paving crew? Much cooler temperatures than UPS drivers deal with. I'd love to be a flag waver. Lol

Did it for five years. UPS truck is more oppressive IMO. The lack of airflow is what the real issue is. Paving, yeah you’re standing on a hot mat, but there is airflow.

If they want to give me a/c I’ll take it but to me the fans work just fine for me.Now it gets hot and humid here just have to pace yourself and drink water which I am not a big fan of,but most of us would agree that the hottest part of the job is being in the back of the package car.
