Vaccine mandate

On a related note, one of CNN's liars admitted that cloth masks don't help. But, being a liar, who probably has a financial interest in increased "surgical" mask sales, she wants the government to waste our tax money forcing people to wear surgical masks, which don't stop or slow the spread of any viruses, in all indoor spaces. Liars gonna lie.

This guy, Michael Olsterholm, is the worlds foremost authority on infectious diseases and the head of the Center For Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP), a man who has spent nearly the last 40 years as one of the worlds top epidemiologists.

We can listen to people like Michael Olsterholm, or we can gravitate to these anonymous YouTube data driven talking heads on social media, motivated by political rhetoric and agenda (which has zero to do with infectious diseases).

I'm going with guys like Olsterholm....every day and twice on Sunday.

I've linked to plenty of highly respected leading experts that I've been following all along. Did it take long for you to dig this guy up off Google just now?

Oh, no, nevermind. He's CNN's go to narrative hustler. No wonder you believe him.

I got hip to Olsterholm after stumbling upon this interview in March of 2020.

I have rarely missed one of his podcasts or interviews since.

My involvement in this thread has been nothing more than therapy for me during a time of unexpected free time, where I can engage strangers rather than people I used to think were starter than I now know they aren't.

Lol, I got experts from Oxford (the ones who made the correct model), Harvard. Stanford, and plenty of others. Osterholm is from a public university in Minnesota. Landed himself some recognition, why wouldn't he repeat CNN's talking points?

Been talking to yourself a lot, then? Lol.

I don't subscribe to any one mainstream media outlet and he is a frequent guest of them all.

Take the time to listen to some of the podcasts I linked and you will not be able to deny that he has been dead nuts on predicting every stage of this pandemic.

....and if you want to do a deep dive, read his book where he predicted all of this in 2017.

I'll do what I can. There's a lot of content out there, and I tend to focus my attention on the people who can explain the mechanics behind their claims. That's why I like Dr Geert Vanden Bossche, who is a vaccine and virology expert. He even had to teach Dr Robert Malone a few things about why mass vaccine campaigns during outbreaks are a bad idea. Everyone was calling him crazy, but everything he's claimed as borne out. I follow a number of different experts, but not super close, just because there's so much to digest.

In the meantime, can you explain your understanding of how airborne viruses spread?

And, just so we understand each other, I can disagree with someone and still have respect for them and their intelligence. If your only response to a post is a disagree or creative charm, that tends to diminish that respect. Tell me what you disagree with or find creative and we can have a real discussion.

I agree that "experts" have much more information & are infinitely smarter in their particular fields of study than common folk.
But I think that real world situations & experiences within a commoners life mean more to them than anyone trying to place information into their minds.
I don't personally know anyone who has passed from covid although there are a couple friends of friends that have. Virtually everyone I have talked to has had covid & only a couple went to the hospital for fluids.
Now if there had been 5-10 In my sphere who had passed with another 50 having been in the hospital then I'd be 1st in line for vax & as many boosters as needed, I'd even cheer lead for mandates for everyone. But this particular virus just isn't producing that level of panic.
