Vaccine mandate

So your the type of guy that, if the mechanic tells you that the oil needs changed every 500 miles, you will comply because "he's the expert." You will also comply to an official checking your car every 500 & impounding it if you don't.

*I'm speaking with a healthy person under 60 in mind
Read it again, I covered oil changes.

If that's true (which I highly doubt) wouldn't that suggest that the technology behind the vaccine is effective in replicating significant properties of the virus for the purpose of programing our immune systems?

I have a reasonable lay level of understanding about why a vaccine that only causes your body to reproduce part of the vaccine trains your body to only respond to that part of the virus, which at best leave you susceptible to the inevitable variants, and can lead to antibody dependent enhancement which can lead to more severe disease when your immune system encounters similar viruses. MRNA vaccines can also lead to autoimmune disorders, where the cells producing the spike protein (your own cells), are identified as a threat by you immune sysyem, and it starts to attack those cells.

I could go into more detail, and describe more problems in more detail, but I'm just a backyard mechanic, internet warrior. So check out Vanden Bossche's video where he explains these problems with ADE, and vaccine induced selective pressure during outbreaks that drives the emergence of new variants. He may talk about shedding some, but, like I said, a lot of content out there, so I don't remember if he addresses shedding or not. Dr. Malone talks about the risks of mRNA vaccine use in humans, he might also discuss the shedding problem.

I challenge you to an arm wrestling contest after I get my next booster shot, because I care about your health.

Any antibodies I might develop as a result would not offer me much protection, and the toxic proteins could cause all sorts of problems. So, you can keep your social distance after you get jabbed.

AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE
Guy. Your shots dont work.
They’re not mine.
They are available.
I chose to take them. So did every member of my family. None of us had any side affects. None of us have gotten covid. Brain mass in tact.
Nobody we know has had any side affects from the shot.
It’s not a cure. It’s a vaccine. It’s a preventative measure.

A big time wrestling reference, impressive.
It was a reference to a poster here who likes using terms like "false equivalency".

Absolutely, but when 99 out of a hundred mechanics concur....then what?
Ummm..... That would make 99 out of 100 mechanics wrong, based on my example.

This pandemic did not reach those levels here in the USA, I agree.

....but that's only because we had the foresight to see what happened in Asia and Europe in countries like China and Italy, where significant numbers of people were denied medical treatment due to the near instantaneous nature of infections associated with a "novel virus".
This is almost completely void of meaning. What isn't unfalsifiable nonsese is not reflective of reality. Who got hit harder than the US? Which countries and states that took more moderate and sensible approaches suffered worse? None.

You're right, it wasn't "rocket science", it was basic math and the measures taken were designed to spread out the rate of infections.
Unfalsiable nonsense. Post hoc ergo propter hoc, a fallacy as old as time.

You look to the veterans of past wars for the "freedom" you desire, I look to my neighbors and their families and gladly comply to modern science.

If only you understood the modern science, and that most of what you believe is a result of political science.

Netsua 3:16

AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE
Austen 3:16 says that's false equivalency.
False equivalency:
I don’t trust the world, therefore it’s not safe to take a vaccine.
I don’t want to take the vaccine; therefore jobs that require the vaccine for employment are infringing on my rights.
This pandemic has never even approached the standard necessary to justify any trespass on individual liberty. The people who have been afraid should This isn't rocket science, it's barely 8th grade level biology with a little civics mixed in.
Nobody is trespassing on your individual liberty.
Nobody has made you take the shot.
Nobody has made you do anything.

Here is the exact problem, you can't have a "reasonable level of understanding" of any of this as a "backyard mechanic".

All you have is the ability to drop names and references that the "lay person" cannot or will not ever vet.

....but they will assimilate by virtue of the fact that they are tired and are looking for a way out and are willing to ignore the preponderance of evidence and testimony of the vast majority of experts, in an effort to justify their own selfishness and political predispositions.

It's really just that simple.

I got hip to Olsterholm after stumbling upon this interview in March of 2020.

I have rarely missed one of his podcasts or interviews since.

My involvement in this thread has been nothing more than therapy for me during a time of unexpected free time, where I can engage strangers rather than people I used to think were starter than I now know they aren't.
I used to really look forward to reading whatever you had to say, whenever you weighed in on any ups or union topic. Really respected you...but I've got you on ignore now. It's cool if you think the vaccines are working. But lay off of those who chose differently than you or are not in a place where they feel they can trust the vaccines at this point. We are all trying to get by the best we can, and do what we think is best for ourselves and our families.

You may not. That doesn't apply to everyone else.

All you have is the ability to drop names and references that the "lay person" cannot or will not ever vet.
That's what you're doing. I'm actually at least scratching the surface on information you seem to not even be aware of. You can't vet my level.of understanding, why do you think you can vet the experts you choose to listen to? Making these claims completely negates your views, because you admit you lack the ability to judge what is reliable information.

Is this a quote? Again, you are projecting.
It's really just that simple.
Nothing ever is.

Then you never really knew me or understood what I am about.

Do these same anti-vaxers extend anybody the same courtesy you expect from me?

Hopefully as a "tadpole" you can become a frog one day?

Neither one one of us have the resources to vet anybody....are you too conceded to realize that?

So again, I will trust my doctor, the one who has been looking after my health for two decades.

....while you search for the answers you want to hear from God knows where.

Like the 250,000 out of 329.5 million people who die due to malpractice annually?

.000758

What's that got to do with it? You asked a question, I answered. You're ready to shut down a country and get an experimental shot based on a virus that doesn't kill that many (unless you believe the "died with" numbers are really "died of").

Your percentage is bogus anyway. How many people actually receive treatment every year that could potentially cause them to die? Comparing number of deaths caused by malpractice to the entire population is meaningless. Also, how many people are just maimed or disabled by malpractice each year? And remember, that's every year.

You believe you are, otherwise you wouldn't have named dropped a shill who makes rounds on the mefia. Again, you say one thing with one breath and the exact opposite with the next. I actually have college level science education, so I understand enough to vet my sources.

So again, I will trust my doctor, the one who has been looking after my health for two decades.

And the 99 others you check with to verify? Lol.

....while you search for the answers you want to hear from God knows where.

Lol. Yes, my sources are soooo hard to find. If you're blindfolded and plugging your ears.

Because you chose to concentrate on 1 in a hundred, instead of 99 in my auto mechanic analogy.

Keep your eye on the ball please.

I don't need him to lay off. All he's achieving is revealing how unreasonable his positions are.

The majority of this community has chosen to tap out of this thread dominated by an ever shrinking handful of outer fringe zealots....and while I was late to the party, I'm soon to join them.

When it is all said and done, all they will have left is this thread and their tired rhetoric.

....and nobody will have been forced to get a vaccine, but very well may have been required to test weekly.

Oh the horror of it all!!!!

It is horrifying how quickly people forget where totalitarianism leads.
