Are you trotting out that lame old “McCain started the fire on the Forrestal” conspiracy theory?I wonder if the families of those killed on the aircraft carrier were sad when they learnt (sic) of his passing?
I disagreed with most of McCain’s politics. But I respected the man for his service and for his sense of decency.
On any given day you can ask 10 people why the flags are at half staff and 9 of them don't have a clue--they can only guess. Time to get rid of that tradition. Its been over abused.

Of course you did the RINO was always decent to the libsI disagreed with most of McCain’s politics. But I respected the man for his service and for his sense of decency.
If McCain's "wet start" of his aircraft didn't start the chain of events that resulted in the fire/explosion then what/who did?

1. The Zuni rockets were known to have electrical issues.
2. How would McCains “wet start” cause the accidental launch of a missile onboard an aircraft that was parked at a 90 degree angle to his A-4?
Snopes is so biased as to be irrelevant
A “wet start” is an intentional backfire caused by dumping raw fuel into the afterburner prior to starting a jet engine, causing a loud explosion.
John McCain flew an A-4 Skyhawk. It was a subsonic aircraft that did not have an afterburner.
The “wet start” theory is a bunch of internet conspiracy BS.
