Intersting as to why they won't release Mike Brown's juvi records. It's almost as if those in power want to keep tensions high between the races.
It's not interesting, it's Missouri state law. Which most states also allow the sealing of juvenile records. He could have been busted for shoplifting bubble gum as far as anyone knows. It was his right to have them sealed so as not to affect his future job opportunities or college applications. Everyone I know that has gotten into a little trouble as a kid has done this.

Once you are dead, those records are suppose to be unsealed.
They are breaking the law by not releasing these records.

What records are you talking about? Try being more factual and specific if you want people to take your statements seriously. Otherwise it's just more faux news garbage.

Are you making things up again?

Juvenile records are not open to public inspection, except by a court order allowing a person with a “legitimate interest” to view the records. However, if a child is adjudicated for an offense which would be a felony if committed by an adult, the records of the dispositional hearing and proceedings related will be open to the public to the same extent as adult criminal proceedings.

So which offense would be the felony if committed by an adult?

So in other words all we know is that he was never charged with a felony as a juvenile, because if he was that would be open to the public. Most courts in this country are extremely protective of juvenile records, I doubt we will ever see his records if any exist at all.

However, if Darren Wilson goes to trial for the shooting, there is a chance a judge could allow juvenile records as evidence. I highly doubt it though as the prejudicial effect of the records would far outweigh the probative value.

Not true. What crimes he had a juvenile are unknown and a couple of sources did say they were felonies - therefore the lawsuit to get the records released.

You're not following me, if it was a felony, they would already be open to the public and there would be no need for the lawsuit. So all we know is that he had no felonies as a juvenile.

As for "a couple of sources", you are once again getting your news from twitter.
There is only one source, a conservative blogger's twitter posts trying to drudge up traffic for the website he just created. He claims on twitter to have police sources, but if you look into this guy he is pretty shady, and has made stuff up in the past.

You are not following me. If there had been a felony the records might have been released. If they should have been but weren't, then a lawsuit to get that information.

More than one source, including police, so there is more than one lawsuit to get those records currently in progress (including one by a St. Louis paper).

There is only one person making the claim. He vaguely states his source as a "law enforcement contact". He is a known liar, and if you read a few of his twitter posts, you will see he is a complete nutjob.

We don't know anything about Michael Brown's juvenile record, and we probably never will. That's just the way the law works.

Dem Councilwoman: Ferguson Shows Government Is Going to ‘Round Up and Execute’ Blacks

A city councilwoman in upstate New York is coming under fire after posting her approval of a wild racial conspiracy theory that the federal government is going to be “rounding up and executing” blacks as a way to deal with them. Anastasia Robertson (D-Troy) made the comments in response to a Grio article covering President Obama’s reaction to the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson.

That is so ridiculous it's comical.
