It's the goal for sure. But even Jesus understands that we will all sin yet should still try to stay away from it

Sure, but the Bible IS needed. How did I know gluttony or addiction is considered sinful to start with? Why do you think I seek out people that think differently than myself? Why go to multiple media sources for help? Why do you pray about things (what you may say is the Spirit talking to you)? But it all starts with going to the gospels
