And preload is going to run a lot longer then 4 hours. I agree. He sounds more like a temp driver who they can move around wherever his Center Manager wants him. We don't have temp drivers but a lot of air drivers who fill in and are paid top rate when they deliver ground.

When I started I worked preload for two years and drove utility everyday but Friday's. Then drove two peak seasons for the center I drive full time for now.
