It isn't a simple question. Do you want UPS to take back all SurePost and lose money on this business stream? If you are in a business for yourself, would you do it and survive? It is easier to say "it aint my problem, sign my paycheck!"

We just don't know how much money they make from SurePost itself. UPS have multiple streams of income.
Well, we know the post office isn’t making much and possibly no money on surepost as they may stop accepting some of that sure post themselves.
Instead of the company trying to screw us out of jobs.
It will be like Rural Delivery like someone said. It is just like most airlines. Customers will pay more for premium delivery.
