The golden rule doesnt mean ripping off ppl in markets or abusing your workers.
Your problem Ricky is you think having a mgr assign you tasks or your company not giving you two or three months a year off is abuse. You want to be paid extremely well for a limited amount of hours and limited effort on your part. The real world doesn't work that way. Socialism or communism or whatever other ideology you espouse won't make it happen. Wake up.

He wants to pretend to work then gets mad when they pretend to pay him.

ripping people off on prices or capitalists treating workers badly wouldnt pass jesus' standards.

the way i see it, either you can maximize profits or you can be a christian, but not both. if you tell people what something is actually worth - a fair price, then maybe you can be a christian.

No, they did not. You can't name one instance in the Gospels of Jesus "freedom fighting." He made it very clear his kingdom isn't a physical kingdom but a spiritual one. He was killed because he was attracting huge crowds and the Jewish leadership was threatened by it.
buddy they obviously didnt just kill him for being popular
why did the leadership feel threatened

i just chatgpt 3 people who actually know something about christianity - james cone, chris hedges, cornel west - and they all gave the same reason he was killed.

jesus wasnt talking about worshipping hte rich, or protecting the rich, or greed is good. he spoke a message of liberation and justice which scared the people with power and so they killed him just like they killed MLK or malcolm x according to james cone

@vantexan and william barber said they killed him because jesus challenged systems of injustice for the poor. jesus wanted a transformation of the world. sounds like a revolution to me.

Again, your idea of abuse is a boss assigning you work to do and expecting you to do it. Most people don't consider that abuse.

Jesus never once told his followers to take up arms and fight.

No, you've made it clear in the past that a boss telling you what to do.with no ability to have a say in what you do is unacceptable to you. I and others told our mgrs all the time that we were too busy to accept work from others. They had tracking systems in place to see just how hard we were working so they knew who was BSing them and who was being truthful. Still not.acceptable to you. I would suggest starting your own business and running it the way you like. Just remember most entrepreneurs work very long hours to make their company successful. Oh, right, you want everyone else to do the hard work and then hand you a lot of money to do little.

We must help the poor, true. Your idea of helping the poor is this utopia where everyone gets paid the same, everyone has a voice in how work will be performed, everyone will work limited hours and have long periods off, everyone will have access to luxurious public transportation and cars will go away. Was never promised in the Bible and is nothing but unworkable fantasy. Has nothing to do with being rich or poor. Has everything to do with being industrious or lazy, smart or stupid.

In 2020 I got booted out of my home by my wife in favor of her angry daughter. I lived in a Honda Element for 7 months. I still paid our car payment of $623.36 which often left me short on money by the end of the month. You know how I got by? Food banks run primarily by churches. That's how we help the poor. We don't give them everything but we do assist so that they don't starve and that allows them to get back on their feet. The things you advocate have been tried. Turned out very badly for most people in those countries. Running companies and being rewarded with money for providing goods and services people need isn't greed. For some reason you can't stand a man who puts in a lot of effort as if what he does is evil. Grow up.
